Asian Games

An olympic scaled brief to create an overall positioning and graphic language, guidelines and legacy applications for the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006. The positioning of ‘Old and New’ represents the Qatari peoples love of their heritage, religion and culture contrasted with their enthusiasm to embrace the future. Fresh out of University Eleanor entered the team at the start of the project as a Junior Designer and was instrumental in the creation of the design elements for the pre-games look and feel and an in-games look and feel, including colour palettes, pictograms, illustration, graphic textures, patterns and typography. The project ran for 3 years and projects included applications ranging from impressive aeroplane livery, mascot creation, building projections, and a set of postage stamps.
